The programme is open
to partnership and collaboration with interested development partners
and other Government ministries in order to achieve its goals of
slum upgrading. These partnerships are based in principle of comparative
advantage and understood by all concerned parties to avoid duplication
of efforts and conflict. In this regard, partners perform those
roles that relate to their core mandates and in aspects of the Programme
they have demonstrated advantage in carrying out tasks.
